Lets say if Burmans were to have made this movie instead of Thai people, it would still just be a historical documentation. It doesn't matter who made the movie. " History " is something that happend in the past. The director even spent more time on searching all these historical facts about thailand than spending time on shooting the film (the film took more than 5 yrs to finish).
