Unfortunately, the typical conservative response to the question "What's gotten better?" is usually non-answered with the response: "Don't ask if things are better -- ask if we're safer from the terrorists."

look fuckwits just take the video for what it is. what did you expect? him to summise concisely and validate every single point with a bunch of facts? too bad most of the real facts are either lollied up or concealed by the cia or fbi.. or ss.. or whatever other secret orgnaisation goddamn sam has working. neglect everything and take the points for face value. what has gotten better? if you wana argue about something then answer his Q fuckwits.

it seems the only requirement for a "good republican" these days is an appalling lack of intelligence.

ur so right, americans were loved here (netherlands)before.now, most people here dont want to have anything to do with them, which is to bad coz i know from my own experience that there are a lot of sane and worth getting to know americans around! cant someone just give bush a blowjob already and get him impeached? hell, i will do it for the greater good if needed. anyway,if u read this jimmy...more power to u. atleast u restored some hope in americans in one dutch guy.

You don't think Clinton bears all responsibility for being caught committing perjury? and BTW, every armorer in the US including Ft Hood in Texas was running flatout to produce extra armor that the Clinton's administration cut funding for along with many more Striker vehicles. Now, Humvee are rolling over. "I believe the up-armoring has caused more deaths than it has saved, said Scott Badenoch, Delphi Corp. vehicle dynamics expert who told the Dayton Daily News for Sunday editions."

I'm not a journalist it's not my job to be "Fair and Balanced" like the propaganda machine at Fox News. Come on, any good republican knows you don't need to be well informed... look who you ran for president. It's all about charisma

You have an effective & entertaining way of voicing your opinion, too bad it's not that informed and nothing resembling a balanced one.

I don't find it too impossible to see where we might agree on some things. Especially immigration. And I'm glad you see the pitfalls of the globalist agenda with China and other neo-communist countries. I'm old enough to remember when "Made in America" meant something, and it meant more than where the box or the label was made. I'd love to see that again.

I'm not a fan of globalism per se' either, especially the way the politicians of all stripes are dealing the damn Chinese. I'd prefer no dealings with China and lesser dealings with other socialists i.e. Chavez. Like you, I prefer a tight immigration policy and no illegal immigration. The politicians are, once again, going to screw everybody on illegal immigration. Guess we're not far apart on that.

Conceivably yes, out of WWII and active in WWIII is certainly a possibility. You make some valid points - and I'm glad your conjecture (though speculative) is at least long-thinking. I set into the isolationist frame largely out of cynicism - and as a defense against globalist agendas. If you can convince me that globalism is beneficial for everyone, vs. another means of concentrating wealth, I'm more than willing to concede that isolationism isn't the best policy.
