And I'm glad you see the pitfalls of the globalist agenda with China and other neo-communist countries. I'd prefer no dealings with China and lesser dealings with other socialists i.e. Chavez. Like you, I prefer a tight immigration policy and no illegal immigration. You make some valid points - and I'm glad your conjecture (though speculative) is at least long-thinking. I set into the isolationist frame largely out of cynicism - and as a defense against globalist agendas.
