Description: According to eyewitnesses, the VPD shot a man dispite the fact that no immanent threat existed. In fact at least some of the shots were when the man was on the ground. Whether you agree this kind of force as lawful or not, the relevant question here is why do the police arrest and charge members of the public who show equal or GREATER restraint? The law applies equally to everyone.... at least in societies based on rule of law and constitutional rights and freedoms. |
