| betsarama ::: Favorites 2007-12-06 10:30:48 If you care deeply about the plight of animals, you join PETA. It is the most effective animals rights group in the world. This makes it a threat to animal exploiters, just as Jesus was considered a threat to Roman rule. __________________________________________________ | |

| DhaliClone ::: Favorites 2007-12-04 11:54:37 Where did I blame PeTA for animal cruelty? They do expose cruelty, but they also literally support terrorist organizations. As I said, there are other legitimate pro-animal organizations that do the same thing that are more deserving of time and resources. Just because PeTA is the most famous organization doesn't make them the best, and it doesn't make them right. And, stop bringing up Jesus, you're just padding you're already poor argument. __________________________________________________ | |
| CaseysBrother ::: Favorites 2007-12-03 13:39:35 I am pretty good at finding peanuts. __________________________________________________ | |
| betsarama ::: Favorites 2007-11-30 13:12:20 In the USA, pigs, cows and chickens live in horrifying conditions. They painful, terrifying deaths in filthy slaughterhouses. There is no oversight, no attempt at mercy. PETA exposes cruelty. Blaming PETA is like calling Jesus a troublemaker. Animals have no voice. They can't defend themselves. PETA courageously exposes cruelty, and they are extremely effective. Like Jesus, they have enemies in high places. See the HBO documentary on PETA, "I Am an Animal." If you love animals, help them! __________________________________________________ | |
| DhaliClone ::: Favorites 2007-11-30 12:41:34 I love animals and what some of those circuses, and most of these types of third-world elephant trainers, do to these elephants is disgusting. But, PeTA are not just pro-animal, they are also anti-human, and they support terrorist organizations (with both money and people). There are quite a few pro-animal organizations that are legitimate, and therefore better, at getting messages across. __________________________________________________ | |

| betsarama ::: Favorites 2007-11-28 20:17:20 If you look carefully, at the very end, you can see the handler poking a stick in the elephant's armpit - a very subtle reminder of the pain that was used in training. Might be hard to imagine the extreme cruelty involved in training, but there is. There always is. If you don't believe it, just go to PETA's website and watch footage of what Barnum & Bailey trainers do to elephants when they don't know they're being filmed. It's tragic and disgusting. __________________________________________________ | |
| westeightyone ::: Favorites 2007-11-28 12:25:42 You're talking about the elephant right? If you're talkng about the guy who was playing against the elephant then it makes no wonder that the guy couldn't hit the target. It's a miracle that the guy could even stand up. __________________________________________________ | |
| OLDMANBADGER ::: Favorites 2007-11-27 17:03:17 you fucking cock, that elephant could kick your ass at darts, football, weight lifting, drinking, fighting , fucking and finding peanuts in a peanut-finding contest. All you can do is give him shit behind his back. __________________________________________________ | |
| hmmmeh ::: Favorites 2007-11-26 18:38:45 Maybe the elephant felt sorry for the guy. __________________________________________________ | |
| adamKintore ::: Favorites 2007-11-26 08:49:33 It doesn't stike me as strange that an elephant would be better at darts than a human. If you look at all the top human darts players, many of them a chunky blokes, they beat skinny people day in day out. If you follow the argument that weight equals better dart playing then this video shows no surprises. If the average weight of a human is say 75kg and an asian elephant's roughly 4000kg then that makes the elephant 53 times better at darts. Now that's science! __________________________________________________ | |
| woowoowoocom ::: Favorites 2007-11-24 17:04:13 My daughter competed against the elephant at Mae Sa - didn't lose as badly as that guy. If you think it's cruel you've obviously never seen these places. Elephants are very smart, when bored they have mental issues. They spend their whole day doing stuff - sure, it's tacky tourist stuff, but the elephants don't mind. They walk in jungle, splash in rivers, socialise in groups. Their keepers are for life and care for them like children. Better than bored stupid in a zoo. __________________________________________________ | |
