And the Moon rotation is coordinated to Earth because Earth and Moon were the same celestial body - huge planet called Tiamat by Sumerian. In a consequence of enormous collision in the past Tiamat planet was split onto Earth, Moon, the Celestial Ring (asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter) and comets.
